Rockefeller Center Star - Swarovski
In 2018, the iconic Swarovski star that topped the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was updated with a brand new star designed by Daniel Libeskind. Orion’s team of industrial designers, engineers and craftsmen worked closely with the Swarovski and Libeskind teams for over 2 years to produce the complex design.

The 900 point star measures nine feet and four inches in diameter and contains 70 spikes covered in over 3 million Swarovski crystals.
From development to production to installation, Orion was a proud partner to ensure a successful outcome to this brilliant project.
An exact replica of the star was placed on the plaza between the tree and Swarovski holiday pop-up. Set on a faceted mirror polished base, the shimmering full size replica allows visitors a chance to experience the star close up.
